The Bushfire Seed Collection allows you to experience the interesting practice of smoke germinating your own native seeds.  Bushfire smoke plays a big role in seed germination of many iconic Australian species as bushfires have shaped our landscape for thousands of years.

The pack contains a careful selection of Australian flower species such as native Iris, Kangaroo Paw, the blue strap flowers and a mix of edible herb species such as desert raisin & native spinach. All require special smoke pre-treatment with full instructions and smoke infused germination granules inside. A great way to learn about our unique flora while growing your own wildflowers and bush tucker at home.

Bush Tucker - Edible Seed Collection

Our specially selected bush tucker species are great for salads, roasted root vegetable dishes, sweet summer berries and currents, and include native herbs such as thyme, wild jack beans, wild tomato and even breakfast raisins. Everything you need for the full bush tucker experience at home.

The bush Tucker Edible collection has everything you need to experience the interesting practice of smoke and water treating seeds before germination as well as full instruction leaflet.

Everlasting Daisy Feilds

Everlasting Daisy Field seedbombs contain a mix of Australia’s most eye catching pink, white, yellow, dark centred and golden centred Everlasting Daisies – making for one of Australia’s most impressive wildflower displays.

Koala Gum Collection with Ornamental Gum Nuts

Koala Gum Seedbombs are made from 100% Australian clay & compost and selection of Eucalyptus seed from the Koala’s favourite –  it’s like a koala buffet!

Seed species include the Koala’s primary food sources – Forest red gum, Mountain grey, snow gum, blue leaved stringy bark & Peppermint gum.

Seedbombs for Native Birds

Contain specially selected species of Australia’s best low growing and dwarf variety of bird attracting wildflowers and small shrubs. Your garden will be alive with nectar loving honeyeaters, red wattle birds, spinebills, as well as small seed & insect seeking finches and wrens.

Wildflower Seedbombs for native pollinators

Seedbombs contain specially selected species of Australia’s boldest, brightest and most fragrant flowers from kangaroo paws to the Swan river daisy, billy buttons, pink everlasting daisies and the most eye catching blue lace flowers.

They work well in open gardens or in pots, perfect for any sized garden providing much needed food and protection native bees and butterflies.

Delays

Couriers and logistic companies are under the pump and still facing delays. We cannot guarantee delivery times or estimates. Please keep in mind that the shipping time frames shown at the checkout should be taken with a pinch of salt{bush} + another pinch of patience! Please check the Australia Post website for further delays on delivery time frames - but again, take it with a grain of salt{bush}. 

Why? It's a combination of the highest volume of packages ever being sent, staff having to isolate, covid cases shutting warehouses. 
The good news? We're absolutely still processing orders within normal time frames our end and we are always here to help with any issues or questions you may have.


Australia

We send via Australia Post eparcel. All parcels require a signature on collection.  Free standard shipping is offered for all Australian orders only over $99.  Under $99 there is a flat rate of $8 per parcel. We also offer a $16.95 Express Post option. We use Australia Post and Sendle as postage services. It is our discretion of which serve is used based on order value and suburb where the parcel is being sent to. Please note, at certain promotion times, including Express Post upgrade, free shipping may not apply. 

We will not cover the cost of postage for parcels sent back to us delivered in error due to the incorrect address given or not collected from your LPO in time. Please double check your address, including suburb and postcode. We are not responsible for packages that go astray due to wrong postal addresses given. A re-delivery fee will be charged.

Although a large country, Australia is very far from the rest of the world and we have tried to keep our shipping costs down. We are not responsible for packages that go astray due to wrong postal addresses given. We cannot guarantee delivery within a set time frame due to various postal systems. Delivery time frames can vary from 10 days to 3 weeks, depending upon location. Please note that Kakadu Plum Co. is not responsible for any duties or taxes charged by your country of shipping. Deliveries may be subject to random custom checks. 

Click + Collect 

We now offer Click + Collect for local Melbourne customers. Orders are available for pick up at 17/95 White Street, Mordialloc, Vic 3195. 

If this is an option you would like to select, please leave a note stating Click + Collect and our team will be in touch via email when the order is ready for collection. 

Pre order

It's pretty exciting when we have new stuff on the way and products confirmed they are coming back in stock. We like to make sure you don't miss out on what you want! Pre order means you place the order now, for delivery in a little while. The product will say 'pre order' in the description + also the expected dispatch date. We update these regularly so you'll know when to expect it. Please note, that if you order a pre-order item and other items in the same order, everything is sent at the one time. If you are wanting certain products sent earlier than the pre-order item please make separate orders. 

Heat Policy For Chocolate

Kakadu Plum Co. does not cover or accept any responsibility for heat damage as a result from freight. We suggest you order and pay for Express Post shipping if ordering during conditions of 28c or higher. We take special care in packaging chocolate during hot conditions, but unless selected, we ship via Standard Parcel Post.
