Shipping Times

We aim to dispatch all orders within 1–2 business days from our warehouse in postcode 3195. During peak periods such as sales events or Christmas, please allow an additional day for dispatch.

For estimated delivery times to your area, we recommend checking the Australia Post website. Please note that Express Post timeframes shown at checkout are estimates only, and not guaranteed.

Delivery Delays

We do our best to get your goodies to you as quickly as possible, but unfortunately, we can’t guarantee exact delivery times.

Shipping estimates provided at checkout should be taken with a generous pinch of saltbush—and a little extra patience, too. For the most up-to-date info on potential delays, please visit the Australia Post website… but yes, even that should be taken with a grain of salt{bush}!

Shipping Within Australia

All orders are shipped via Australia Post.

  • Free standard shipping is available on all Australian orders over $140.

  • Orders under $140 will incur a flat shipping rate of $14.

  • Express Post is available for $18.95.

Please note: During certain promotional periods or Express Post upgrades, free shipping may not apply.

Address Accuracy & Redelivery

Please ensure your delivery address is correct, including suburb and postcode, before finalising your order.

We are not responsible for parcels sent to incorrect addresses or those not collected in time from your local post office.

If a parcel is returned to us due to an incorrect address or being unclaimed, redelivery fees will apply, and we do not cover the cost of return postage in such cases.

Please note, our Free Shipping promotion on orders over $140 applies to Australian orders only and does not extend to international shipments.

  • 0 – 500g: $27.00

  • 500g – 2kg: $40.00

  • 2kg – 3kg: $55.00

  • 3kg – 5kg: $79.95

We’ve worked hard to keep our international shipping costs as reasonable as possible—but Australia is a long way from just about everywhere!

  • We are not responsible for parcels lost due to incorrect shipping addresses. Please double-check all details before placing your order.

  • Delivery timeframes vary depending on your location and may range from 10 days to 3 weeks. We cannot guarantee delivery dates due to differences in postal systems and potential delays.

  • Your order may be subject to customs duties or import taxes—these are the responsibility of the recipient.

  • Customs inspections may cause additional delays, which are unfortunately beyond our control.

Click + Collect 

We now offer Click + Collect for local Melbourne customers. Orders are available for pick up at 17/95 White Street, Mordialloc, Vic 3195. 

 

Pre-Orders

We get just as excited as you do when new products are on the way or favourites are confirmed to return!

Pre-order means you're securing your item in advance for delivery at a later date. The product listing will clearly state “Pre-Order” along with the estimated dispatch date, which we update regularly to keep you in the loop.

Please note:
If you order a pre-order item along with in-stock products, your entire order will be shipped together once the pre-order item is available.
If you’d like your in-stock items sooner, we recommend placing separate orders.

Heat Policy – Chocolate Orders

While we pack our chocolate with extra care during warm weather, Kakadu Plum Co. cannot accept responsibility for heat damage during transit.

If you're ordering chocolate and your local temperature is 28°C or higher, we strongly suggest choosing Express Post at checkout to reduce time in transit.

Unless otherwise selected, orders are shipped via Standard Parcel Post.
