The ancient technique of chain-stitches a traditional Kashmiri handicraft is important to the local economy. This work is produced in remote villages and provides an important supplementary income between harvests and other rural work.

Karen is a keen observer of wildlife around her home country at Yuendumu. Her sharp observtion is matched by her decisive strokes and bright pallette. Karen shows us some of the wildlife gems living in her homelands. she focuses on birds but lso paints kangroos and other anmilas, including domestic dogs.
