Jigsaw Puzzle - BUDGABULLA

At Christmas I bought two jigsaws designed by Indigenous artists. And recently I bought four more, though two remain to be done, plus another one bought at the Emily Kam Kngwarray exhibition at the NGA.

This one was the most colourful of all the jigsaws I have ever done, regardless of who the artist was. I wish I understood better the meanings of the symbols depicted. The colours are really beautiful - intense and lively - the dots present a challenge, the footprints made me smile.

The 1,000 pieces are well cut and the boxed presentation is well thought out (magnets in the lid). It would make a great present for overseas friends or a souvenir for those who have visited.

My good friend is going to love this puzzle for Christmas! I’m so looking forward to seeing it completed.

Given to me as a present. First jigsaw I’ve done & I loved completing the beautiful, colourful journey of something.
