Pmerlpe is the Arrente word for Quandong. Pmerlpe trees grow in the Central Desert and the fruit is a very popular bush tucker. It is a sweet/sour/salty fruit with a seed in the centre which is commonly used by Town Camp artists to make seed jewellery.
