wattle earrings

Sadly these earrings did not meet my expectations. I had been obsessing over them and was so looking forward to receiving them, but when they arrived, they simply did not match the picture on the website. For a start, there is only one leaf per earring, not two like in the photo, which means the whole design is off balance. The website really should have been updated as that is false advertising. But what might be even more disconcerting is the earrings’ low quality - each yellow flower has been roughly glued to the leaf, leaving a big fat blob of white glue that simply looks ugly. I’ve tried to scratch it off but it doesn’t seem to budge and I’m worried about damaging the earring so I’ll have to leave it as is… At such a high price tag, I had expected much more.
