This is a very accessible and easy to read story book that introduces and gives meaning and explantation within the text to the customs and symbols of Indigenous Australia. Written by a most respected Elder, Aunty Joy Murphy and beautifully illustrated by Indigenous artist Lisa Kennedy. 

Aboriginal communities across Australia have boundaries that are defined by mountain ranges and waterways. To cross these boundaries or enter community culture you need permission from the neighbouring community. Each community has its own way of welcoming to country.
