Kakadu Plum Co. is an Australian brand based in Melbourne Metro whereby we are currently adhering to stage 4 restrictions.
Fortunately, our business is able to still be up and running however we have had to make some minor adjustments to ensure we are adhering to regulations. Although our dispatch and/or email correspondence may take a little longer than our customers are used to during this difficult time, we would like to assure our customers that we are still here for them and will get back to every single one of your emails as soon as we can and thank every single one of our customers for their support and understanding.
Due to the stage 4 restrictions, there are also significant delivery delays within the Australia Post and logistics network due to:
- reduction in air freight capacity and passenger flights (which also carry our parcels)
- a significant increase in parcels volumes, many which require manual sorting. Australia Post recently recorded one of the busiest delivery days in its history, with about 2.35 million parcels and letters dropped off
This means that unfortunately every order (both domestic and international) is likely to experience some form of delivery delay during this time and standard shipping time frames are to only be used as a guide - not a guarantee.
As a result of the above unparalleled circumstances, the Express Post service is seeing significant delays in delivery and the express post guarantee of 1-3 business days is temporarily suspended. This means that parcels shipped via Express Post could take five business days or more to reach their destination. We know these delays are frustrating, and want to ensure you that Australia Post are doing everything they can to keep delivering as safely and quickly as possible.
